The Games have begun! On Saturday, we closed out this year’s Mens and Womens Volleyball Tournaments, Specialty Events at the Woodland Sports Complex, Table Tennis, and Basketball Skills Competitions. Monday’s events went off without a hitch, and the weather held out for us for most of Tuesday’s events (unfortunately, rain did delay the Golf Tournament, and stronger storms about an hour after we commenced golfing caused us to cancel the tournament). Rain on Wednesday did delay Shuffle-Board, but continued after the rains passed. Congratulations to all our winners and participants. Isolated and scattered rain showers are still in the forecast through Friday, May 2nd. However, the expected rainfalls are expected to be low, and we project that they will have minimal impact for the remainder of this year’s Games. Consequently, we have made the call to proceed with all the Games for Thursday. Show up to the site, and the Event Coordinators will provide any instructions on the events. Weather call for Friday’s Games will be made by noon on Thursday. Good luck!
