Welcome to the 2026 Criterium at the Columns bike race! We are thrilled to announce that this year’s race will also be the Missouri State Championship Criterium event.

A few notes about the event:

• Start/Finish Line: 8th Street and Elm Street in downtown Columbia (near the famous Shakespeare’s Pizza)
• There will be NO on site registration. You will be able to sign up on BikeReg until about an hour prior to the start of each race.
• Street and garage parking is free on Sundays.
• Podiums/awards will be held near the registration tent for each category as soon as the offical results are posted (usually about 15 minutes after the race).
• This event requires a lot of volunteers. Please be sure to thank them on race day!
• Race will happen rain or shine!!

A few notes about the State Championship competition:

• Champions will receive a Missouri Championship jersey
• Jerseys will need to be ordered after the event and should take about 8 weeks to arrive
• Must be a Missouri resident to be eligible
• Category/Age Group must have at least five racers participating for it to be an offical State Championship
• Must hold a USA Cycling annual license
• Cat 5/Novice racers are not eligible for the title
• If you win multiple races on the same day, you will only be awarded one Championship jersey
