DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Metro Milers running club\, the Route 66 10K features as part of the City of Edwardsville’s Route 66 Festival. The festival and race are held in Edwardsville’s City Park on the second Saturday every year in June. \nAs of the best races in the Midwest\, the Route 66 10K is regularly the RRCA’s Championship 10K those years it is eligible. This event is tailored to be enjoyed by all who participate as runners\, walkers\, and volunteers. Being a community-oriented event\, a portion of the race budget is dedicated every year to benefit local not-for-profit organizations\, and proceeds are used to promote physical fitness and activity in the Metro East. \nAge group awards (in 5 year bins) will be awarded to in person participants\, and all registrants will receive a high quality technical shirt and finisher swag item.

SUMMARY:Volkslauf 10K Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Can you keep up with the Marines? \nThe Marine Mess Volkslauf 10K mud run is an event conducted on Fort Leonard Wood to foster community relationships between the local area and the United States Marine Corps. The race contains multiple man-made obstacles\, mud pits\, and river crossings. It spans Demolition Road\, up Volkslauf Firebreak\, crosses the Big Piney River\, goes up Ramsey Cemetery and continues in the vicinity of the Big Piney River until finishing at Happy Hollow Park. This race is a fun but challenging event while welcoming all of those who wish to participate and support the Marine Corps Training Detachment FLW. \n– You may register as an individual runner or as a team. Teams will register as individuals on this website but check in with the registration desk at the race to register the team. If you are running with a team\, you are encouraged to run together and help each other along the way. Your placement as a team is based on your average finish time\, so leave no man behind! \n– There is a price bump for team registration on May 1st\, so if you’re signing a team up\, do it early! Teams are encouraged to make or wear matching shirts. \n– Event T-shirts will be available to the first 300 runners. \n-We will recognize the team with the best costumes! \n– The race will begin at 0800 sharp. Please be prepared rough terrain\, water crossings\, and mud!

DESCRIPTION:The Islands of Saint Louis Overnighter offers the opportunity to stay close to home and yet feel far away! After a paddle on one of our great rivers we’ll arrive at a beautiful white sand beach on one of the many river islands that we have right here within the Saint Louis region. Each of the Islands of Saint Louis overnight trips is planned to give everyone from the complete novice to the experienced camper a truly unique island experience. Along with a paddle\, you’ll have the opportunity to camp on the beach of a secluded and wild river island and spend your time relaxing\, exploring\, arrowhead hunting\, spotting wildlife\, swimming\, hanging around the campfire\, or just playing a game of beach bocce! BMA guides will assist in all aspects of the journey\, including setting up your tent\, leading a hike\, and of course\, preparing BMA’s acclaimed campfire gourmet meals! \nOur trip will start with a morning meetup at the BMA warehouse where our expert guides will assist in outfitting you for the expedition and packing up your gear into our 29 foot voyageur canoes. We can supply waterproof dry bags for all of your things and additional camping gear upon request. We’ll leave your cars in our parking lot and shuttle all together to the put-in on the Missouri River. The trip will include all meals\, snacks\, canoes\, paddling gear and transportation. No paddling experience or special equipment is necessary\, we’ve got you covered! Guests will need to provide their own tent and sleeping bag or rent one from BMA for a small additional charge.

SUMMARY:Run Finley Farms
DESCRIPTION:A new event for 2024\, this 4.17 mile run/walk takes place at Finley Farms in Ozark Missouri. The course features an out and back route\, exploring the property at Finley Farms and the new Chadwick Flyer Trail. Runners will receive a finisher’s medal\, and enjoy live music and dinner under the stars. Dinner for participants will include a Mediterranean bowl and a beverage from Heart of America Beverage Company (must be 21 years of age). \nParticipants are invited to informally tour the historic property after the race. Walk through Finley Farms\, see the Workshop\, the high-yield urban farm that supports the onsite restaurants\, The Garrison\, The Chapel and The Riverside Bridge. Race photos will be taken for individuals and groups on the Riverside Bridge through 8:00 PM. The Market Shed will house our buffet dinner as we celebrate the beauty of a night in the Ozarks\, complete with live music and a fun post race celebration.
