DESCRIPTION:Who’s ready for the 5th annual Bad Dawg Ultra??? \nJoin us on August 17\, 2024 in Waynesville\, MO for the 5th annual BAD DAWG Ultra Endurance Run. This no-frills 100/50/100k/50k race and 12 mile run/ruck is the perfect event for those people who love running for a purpose. And the purpose is this… to provide a new pair of shoes to every Elementary student in our Title 1 school districts as part of the HFPC’s (Healthy Futures Pulaski County) OneSolePurpose project (check out onesolepurpose.com) This out-and-back course (10 mile loop) will give you a few rolling hills and lots of flat gravel with tree-lined country views. This is a great race for those first-time ultra runners and also for those wanting a shorter distance.\nThis is an event put on by ultrarunners for ultrarunners…. for a great cause!!\nThere will be Overall Male and Female Awards for all distances. 100 Mile Finishers will receive a custom belt buckle and bumper sticker! 100k and 50 Mile Finishers will receive a custom belt buckle and bumper sticker! 50k finishers will receive a custom medal and bumper sticker! All 12 mile runners will receive a one-of-a-kind medal and all 12 mile ruckers will receive a one-of-a-kind patch!

SUMMARY:MTC Zilla Tri
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Columbia and Bolm-Schukraft Park! The first MTC Zilla Tri Sprint Triathlon is a great event for all ages\, 18 and up\, beginners\, and seasoned athletes. The event is hosted by the Metro-Tri Club. Race begins with a serpentine swim\, bike out to the county roads\, and run out along shady city streets and back to Bolm-Schuhkraft Park. \nWe begin with a 300-yard serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis Pool. The 11.2-mile bike course has mostly flat roads with one challenging hill\, and railroad crossing (time not adjusted for stoppage at train track). The bike is non-draft legal. The 5K run course will take you through a neighborhood\, and onto the trail\, and will have plenty of shade. \nTriathlon is USAT-sanctioned. USAT rules require bar ends to be plugged. Drafting rules apply. USAT officials will be on course. \nBe sure to register by July 30 2024 to guarantee a t-shirt. \nOnline Registration ends August 16 at 11:59 pm
