SUMMARY:Criterium at the Columns
DESCRIPTION:Criterium racing returns to Columbia! Our selected course will take racers through the downtown streets of Columbia and through part of the University of Missouri’s campus. \nThis 1 mile course has a lot to offer for spectators too\, with on-course restaurants and bars. We will have a FREE kids race (10 and under)\, junior races\, masters races\, and category races. The women’s and men’s P/1/2/3 categories will each be racing for substantial prize money. With the help of our awesome sponsors\, we will also be able to pay the top racers in the lower categories.

Set in the idyllic community of New Town St Charles\, the St. Luke’s New Town Triathlon features a course that’s perfect for the first timer\, age grouper or veteran racer. Great amenities\, easy transitions\, fast splits\, and outstanding event production quality all make the St. Luke’s New Town Triathlon one of the most popular events of the season. You will swim a distance of .62 miles\, bike 20 miles\, and run 4 miles on the Long Course event or .3 mile swim\, 15 mile bike and 2 mile run on the Sprint Course.
