DESCRIPTION:USATF rules and regulations will be followed in general. Commissioner’s decision is final.\nIn all events\, women will compete first\, followed by the men and oldest to youngest. (i.e. Women oldest to youngest\, followed by men oldest to youngest.)\nAge divisions may be grouped for the convenience of running the meet\, but awards will be presented for place winners within a contestant’s own age group.\nThe 100 meter dash and “short” hurdles will be run as prelims / finals only if more than 8 competitors are in an event. Otherwise they will be ran as a timed final. In case of a tie\, USA Track and Field rules governing ties shall apply.\nTwo false starts by an individual will disqualify them from competition.\nMaximum spike length shall be 1/4″.\nIf a person physically aids any participant during an event the participant shall be disqualified.\nBib numbers must be worn on the front of the jersey except for athletes participating in the pole vault and throwing events.\nABSOLUTELY NO ATHLETES SHOULD BE IN THE INFIELD DURING THE MEET EXCEPT THOSE PARTICIPATING IN FIELD EVENTS.\nAthletes must supply their own pole vault poles.

SUMMARY:Ballwin Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the City of Ballwin\, MSE Racing is excited to host the iconic 27th annual Ballwin Triathlon. The USAT sanctioned Ballwin Triathlon is a 300-yard pool swim\, 9-mile bike\, and 3.4-mile run. This race is very popular and fills up to capacity almost every year. Wave start times are available on a first come\, first serve basis so be sure to secure your spot early if a certain start time is important to you. \n  \nIT’S BACK this year: the Double Triathlon. If you are looking for a greater challenge\, here’s your opportunity! Participants will complete the Ballwin Triathlon course and then head back to the pool to complete the course a second time beginning with one lap around North Pointe’s lazy river.

DESCRIPTION:The Youth Triathlon provides a fun and healthy opportunity to help children stay active this summer. By combining swimming\, biking and running in one sport\, participants benefit from a well-rounded fitness activity while enhancing their endurance and strength\, all while having fun. For over a quarter of a century TRiKC have been inspiring new generations to be fit\, strong\, and fast triathletes. Please join us this year for more pulse-pounding action at The Youth Triathlon Kansas City! \nUSA Triathlon previously designated TRiKC triathlons as part of its Grand Prix Youth Series and has recognized this triathlon as one of the best USAT sanctioned events. The TRiKC Triathlons were selected to be in the Series based on strict criteria that included sanctioning compliance\, safety\, quality and athlete support. TRiKC is committed to increasing youth access to multisport and offers a variety of programs and resources to help young athletes get involved in triathlon\, develop their skills and achieve their goals. With programs and resources for all ability levels\, we are here to support young athletes throughout their multisport journey. The Youth Triathlon Kansas City is the perfect venue for youth triathletes to have the opportunity to get involved and develop in the sport of triathlon. \nThis youth triathlon is open to children ages 1 to 14. The triathlon starts at 7:00am. The transition area will be open at 6:00am. Triathletes should plan to arrive before 6:30am. Register early to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

DESCRIPTION:TRIATHLON INFORMATION \n\nCompetitors age is determined by their age on the day of the race.\nTriathlon consists of 1/2 mile swim\, 15 mile bike and 3 mile run.\nTriathlon Federation USA rules will be followed.\nNo assistance is allowed in the transition area between events.\nParticipants may be disqualified for (1) not completing any portion of the event or (2) directly or indirectly hindering the performance of other athletes.\nAll participants must supply yellow swim caps to wear during swimming competition.\nNo flotation devices are allowed.\nNo wet suits are allowed.\nCPSC Standard approved helmets are required for the bike race.\nIn case of equipment malfunction\, participant must make their own repairs. No outside help will be allowed.\nParticipants must dismount from bike before removing chin strap of helmet.\nParticipants must put bike on rack before continuing to road race.\n\nDUATHLON INFORMATION \n\nRace shall consist of a 15-mile bike ride\, then a 3-mile run.\nCompetitor’s age is determined by their age as of July 1.\nFederation USA rules will be followed.\nNo assistance is allowed in the transition area between events.\nParticipants may be disqualified for (1) not completing any portion of the event or (2) directly hindering the performance of other athletes.\nCPSC Standard approved helmets are required for the bike race.\nThere will be water stations throughout the course.

DESCRIPTION:Please Join us at Big Shark’s Urban Shark City Foundry Location for our 11th annual customer appreciation ride. We are teaming up with STL favorites Kaldis\, Companion\, Urban Chestnut Brewery\, and Pedal the Cause for a free training ride. \nWe’ll have three distances – 25 miles\, 40 miles\, or 50 miles. We’ll be rolling from the heart of the City Foundry in Downtown West. We’ll have plenty of monitored parking on the West entry across from the IKEA. \nThe Tour des Sharks training ride feaures our support for Pedal the Cause. This year there are fewer training opportunities for www.pedalthecause.org so join us and sign up to fight cancer. If you’re not registered you can sign up or donate to the Bikes\, Beans\, and Brews team!

DESCRIPTION:Bikes are subject to safety check. \nThis will be a multi-lap circuit race. Each lap is approximately 7.5 miles of open field and single track riding. There are technical downhills and a steep\, long uphill. \nKids 12-Under race 2 short (<1 mile) laps. \nBeginner class races 1 lap (8.5 miles).\nSport class races 2 laps (17 miles)\nExpert class races 3 laps (25.5 miles)\nMarathon races for 3 hours\, the most laps in least time determines placement. \nBeginners will be split into the following age groups: Kids (12 and Under)\, Juniors 13-15\, Juniors 16-18\, Adults 19-29\, 30-39 and 40+ \nSport will be split into the following age groups: Juniors 15-18\, Adult 19-29\, 30-39\, 40-49 and 50+ \nExpert will be split into the following age groups: 19-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59 and 60+ \nMarathon will race as one\, open age group.
