SUMMARY:River Soundings
DESCRIPTION:River Soundings is a conference for people who live near\, work on\, rely on\, and love the Missouri River. This annual event includes panel discussions on issues related to big rivers and the Missouri River in particular. Each year\, speakers and panelists who are experts from around the country gather to share and discuss challenges and success stories. Our goal is to bring together people from up and down the river to look for common goals and active strategies to get there. \nThe 2025 theme is Urban Watersheds. \nRiver Soundings is brought to you by the Missouri Department of Conservation and Greenway Network. \nThe conference will be held at Beyond Housing Headquarters on Wed & Thur September 10-11. The address is 6506 Wright Way\, St. Louis\, MO 63121. The doors will open at 8:30 am each day for check-in. The conference will start at 9 am. \nWednesday Night dinner and reception will be held within the Beyond Housing footprint at a location to be determined. \nPlease register individually\, and for meals\, no later than Sept 5. \nConference is hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation Stream Teams with generous support from Greenway Network and its donors. Organized by Greenway Network\, Missouri Sierra Club\, Great Rivers Environmental Law Center\, Missouri River Relief\, Missouri Department of Natural Resources with the assistance of River City Outdoors Collaborative\, Missouri Chapter American Fisheries Society\, and Ozark Land Trust. \nYour tax free donation to support this conference will be greatly appreciated.
