SUMMARY:Lost Valley Luau
DESCRIPTION:Lost Valley Luau is raced on the Lost Valley Trail in Defiance\, MO. This 11.5 mile loop has it all: flowing single track\, technical root & rock formations\, and some relentless double track. The race is run counter-clockwise\, forcing racers to climb up the double track and the descend on the single track. \nThe surface of the Lost Valley Trail single track\, even in the flowing sections\, is extremely rocky\, and as such the trail is among the fastest draining trails in the area. However\, don’t be fooled\, the early Spring date often brings a twist to trail conditions (prepare for the worst\, hope for the best) as the Race will be run rain or shine. \nNew for 2025\, the race will start/finish at the Lost Valley Lower Lot Gate\, and uses the double track as a connector to the Main Lost Valley Loop. This lengthens each lap to 11.5 miles long\, and every lap after completing the Beaver Time Section\, participants will follow the double track back to the Start/Finish line to start their next lap.

SUMMARY:Tri My Best Adaptive Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Tri My Best\, hosted at Washington University\, is an adaptive triathlon for children with movement disabilities. Athletes train throughout the year and complete versions of the swim\, cycle\, and run tailored to each athlete’s mobility level. Tri My Best is designed to give the athlete a reason to train and stay active throughout the year by promoting physical fitness and endurance outside of the hospital walls\, all while providing an experience they wouldn’t otherwise have.

All paces welcome—whether you’re towing a trailer\, riding a tagalong\, or your kid is cruising on their own wheels\, this is a no-stress ride meant to just enjoy the morning together. \nThe rides leave right at the start time (9 or 10am) so plan to arrive early! \nAfter the Ride: Stick around for some bonus fun! Our partners will be setting up the Vanimal Obstacle Course and providing balance bikes for the little riders to play and explore. \n\n\nBalance bikes are sized for ages 18 months to 6 years
