DESCRIPTION:Come be a part of the first annual INCINERATOR at Route 66 State Park in Eureka Missouri on September 27th… A Fundraiser for the Eureka Wildcats Mountain bike Team (NICA). \nWhat was once a ghost town\, the old historic town of Times Beach is now a beautiful 400-acre park. You will race an approximate 3-mile loop that includes asphalt\, gravel\, grass\, and a few surprises. The choice of bike is yours. (Mountain bike\, gravel\, or cyclocross) This course is flat and fast\, and your legs are guaranteed to burn as you attempt to flee the INCINERATOR! \nSchedule of events: \n9:00am – C race – You are out to have fun\, a beginner or casual rider\n40 minutes – as many laps as you can- $30 \n9:00am– kids 12 and under\n1 lap – $15 \n10:00am– B race- competitive\, more experienced riders.\n45 minutes- as many laps as you can- $35 \n11:00am– A race- Experienced racers pushing the pace.\n55 minutes- as many laps as you can- $40 \n*NICA student- athletes – $20* \nAwards at 12:30\, course closed at 1:00 \nCome experience the INCINERATOR and help support Eureka’s local NICA team. DESCRIPTION:Run it Back.\, the city’s only adult-centered track and field club\, is hosting its final community track meet of the season on Saturday\, September 27th at 6:00 PM at Saint Louis University Medical Center Stadium. The event invites adults of all athletic levels to come out and race\, jump\, and throw in a fun\, welcoming environment that blends competition\, community\, and culture. \nCreated for former athletes\, community members\, and folks who just miss the track\, Run it Back. is reimagining what it means to move at any age or skill level. The September 27th meet will feature: \n\nElectronic timing for all races\nPrizes and giveaways for top finishers\nAn athlete recovery truck\nA live DJ spinning under the stadium lights\nMade-to-order tacos from Up Late\n\nFrom the founder\, Anastasia Harris\, a Black woman and St. Louis native: “I created Run it Back. for people to experience the special energy that only a track can bring. Once you graduate from high school or college there are few\, if any\, free opportunities to train and compete with other adults who love track and field\, but we’re changing that! Having the opportunity to do something I love is special\, but when other folks join in it becomes so much sweeter.” \nSpectators are welcome\, and the event is free to attend.
