SUMMARY:Midnight Rat Race - Unsanctioned
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for a true test of endurance\, speed\, and grit? Welcome to the MIDNIGHT Rat Race UNSANCTIONED\, an event tailored for the hardcore\, the brave\, and those seeking an unparalleled challenge. This sucker is not for the faint of heart\, losers\, or whiners out there. \nRace Details:\nStart Time: As the clock strikes midnight\, the race begins. October 24th marks the date where only the brave will step up to the challenge.\nCourse: This race is unique—no course markings\, no volunteers\, no directions. It’s just you\, the night\, and your determination. Navigate from point A to point B in the quickest way you can.\nDistance: Approximately 13 miles lie between the start and end locations. How you traverse this distance is up to you.\nTerrain: Sidewalks\, roads\, alleys\, grass—choose your path wisely. The urban landscape of the night is your playground.\nTime Limit: You have a maximum of 3 hours and 15 minutes to reach the finish line\, after that- we’re calling the cops to head out and look for you.\nThis race demands strategy\, resourcefulness\, and resilience. Without the usual race-day amenities and support\, you’re left to rely on your instincts and abilities. Do you have what it takes to conquer the MIDNIGHT Rat Race UNSANCTIONED? \nNote: This event is unsanctioned and presents inherent risks. Participants must prioritize their safety and be aware of their surroundings at all times. This race is for experienced runners who understand and accept the challenge.

SUMMARY:Off Road Rage Adventure Race
DESCRIPTION:There will be navigation\, trekking (running or hiking)\, mountain biking. The EXTREME and SHORT Courses will require flatwater\, or slow moving river paddling. (canoes\, pfds\, paddles provided!!) There may\, OR MAY NOT\, be surprise challenges for ALL courses. The team that completes all the checkpoints (or more than other teams) with the fastest time will win the race. \nThere will be several checkpoints that are mandatory (transition areas)\, but most are not. \nA team could choose to skip checkpoints and shorten the course and still have an official finish\, though probably not place in the top 10. You will have access to the gear\, food and drink that you have on your bike or in your pack. The maps are pre-plotted topographic maps from mytopo.com. Your team will need a basic understanding of terrain features and distance measure. There will be very few rules of travel\, teams will choose their own route/strategy (with mode of travel specified for checkpoints).
