DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 10th Annual Clinton Historic Half Marathon & 5K! The course will take you along a variety of historical landmarks in Clinton\, MO such as the Anheuser-Busch building\, Artesian Park\, and the beautiful downtown Clinton Square! \nParticipants will receive a short-sleeve soft cotton race shirt\, custom bib number (personalized for half marathon participants) and a great finisher’s medal. \nAll proceeds from this event go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henry County. Any runners/walkers on the course past 11:00 am run at their own risk with the potential of there no longer being water stations\, course volunteers and your time may not be recorded. However\, we will be happy to still reward you with a medal when you finish! \nIn the half marathon\, overall male and female will receive a $200 cash prize!! \nRegister by June 4 to guarantee a shirt! \nPacket pickup will be available at the following times and location.\nFriday\, June 12 – 4-7 pm at the Clinton Rotary Building\nRace Day – 6:00-7:15 am on the Gazebo near the start line. \nThe Clinton Rotary Building is located at 200 W. The 10K will start at 7:30 am and the 1 Mile and 5K will start at 8 am. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau’s service projects that advance the status of women and girls worldwide. *The event will be chip timed! \nOnline registration will close Thursday\, June 11 at 11:59 p.m. After this\, 10K registration will be available onsite from 6:45-7:15 a.m. on race day. The 1 Mile and 5K registration will be available from 6:45 – 7:45 am on race day. Those registered by May 25 are guaranteed an awesome t-shirt! \nPacket Pick Up will be Friday\, June 12 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Fitness Plus; 150 South Mt. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Metro Milers running club\, the Route 66 10K features as part of the City of Edwardsville’s Route 66 Festival. The festival and race are held in Edwardsville’s City Park on the same Saturday as the festival every year in June. \nAs of the best races in the Midwest\, the Route 66 10K is regularly the RRCA’s Championship 10K those years it is eligible. This event is tailored to be enjoyed by all who participate as runners\, walkers\, and volunteers. Being a community-oriented event\, a portion of the race budget is dedicated every year to benefit local not-for-profit organizations\, and proceeds are used to promote physical fitness and activity in the Metro East. \nAge group awards (in 5 year bins) will be awarded to in person participants\, and all registrants will receive a high quality technical shirt and finisher swag item.
