On Saturday\, we closed out this year’s Mens and Womens Volleyball Tournaments\, Specialty Events at the Woodland Sports Complex\, Table Tennis\, and Basketball Skills Competitions. Monday’s events went off without a hitch\, and the weather held out for us for Tuesday’s events. Congratulations to all our winners and participants. Isolated rain showers are in store for the St. Charles County area beginning Tuesday\, April 29th\, and lasting through Thursday\, May 1st. However\, we have made the call to proceed with all the Games for Wednesday. Show up to the site\, and the Event Coordinators will provide any instructions on the events. Weather call for Thursday’s Games will be made by noon on Wednesday. Good luck!

DESCRIPTION:The Chain of Rocks Bridge has become the permanent home of our Spring Duathlon. Originally held on the historic Eads Bridge we re-located the event to a longer bridge and a more rural bicycle course. The iconic Chain of Rocks Bridge and surrounding area is the perfect venue to ease into an active event season. The event starts and finishes at the foot of the Chain of Rocks Bridge on the Illinois side. Participants will run from Start Line to the Mississippi River and back\, followed by a flat\, fast out and back bike circuit\, returning to a final out and back run leg to the river and back with great views of the mighty Mississippi River. Awesome\, right?!

When : April 19\, 2025 6K run & 1.7 mile WTF (Walk The Forest) start time 9:30am\, Half Marathon start time 8 a.m.. Rain or Shine\nWhere: Wolf Creek Trail\, Poplar Bluff\, Mo.\, is .60 mile north of the Highway Patrol Station. It’s off the outer road on Forestry Road 3107 (also labeled County Road 429 on some maps). As soon as you get on the Forestry road\, the Trail Head is on the right.\nCost*: $35 (6K) run & 1.7 mile walk\, $40 (Half Marathon). Add $5 to each if you register the day of the race at the trailhead. Age groups: Men & Women 18yrs old and under\, 19-35\, 36-50\,51+\n*Cost includes T shirt and medals* for top two runners in each age division for 6K (male & female)\, top male & female half runners and EACH finisher in half marathon. All runners/walkers will get a T shirt\, however to be guaranteed a T shirt ON RACE DAY you must register by April 14th. AND RESPOND TO SHIRT SIZE (MEN’S & WOMEN’S SIZES) on this website. Shirts and bibs can be picked up at the north trailhead prior to race start. Sorry\, but NO REFUNDS . DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 8th Annual Chesterfield Regional Chamber Blossom Bolt Run/Walk. The family friendly event will begin at 8am on Saturday\, April 19th. The 5K (3.1 mile) and 10K (6.2 mile) courses are out and back flat trails. The Chamber also hosts a half-mile Sprout Sprint (aka Children’s Fun Run) for ages 10 and under. This event is sponsored by Bayer CropScience\, Orangetheory Fitness – Chesterfield\, First Community Credit Union\, Ambassador Floor\, and Ryan Lawn & Tree. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Wings of Hope.\nThe 5K is an out and back course starting on Edison Ave. west of Chesterfield Business Parkway\, west on Edison Ave. to a point about ½ block past Spirit of St. Louis Blvd. where participant will make a 180 degree turn and return to the start/finish line.
