SUMMARY:Nasty Pulaski Gravel Grind
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Nasty Pulaski Gravel Race. This leg quivering gravel grind winds through the beautiful back roads of Pulaski County with scenic river views and multiple stream crossings. The Full Nasty course is a highlight with total elevation of over 4400ft… yet the Half Nasty option gives you a taste of adventure with less of a commitment and the Mini Nasty is fun with a few hills.

SUMMARY:Devil’s Toll Race
DESCRIPTION:The Devil’s Toll Gate Race is a 13-mile dual discipline event across one of the most scenic and rugged landscapes Missouri’s Ozark Trail has to offer. The event traverses from the highest point in Missouri\, Taum Sauk Mountain down past the beautiful Mina Sauk falls and thru the rock formation known as the Devils’ Toll Gate before again climbing over and around Proffit and Wildcat Mountains with a tricky descent past the famous Scour of Taum Sauk reservoir\, finishing with an amazing Black river crossing at Johnson Shut-ins State Park. \nWhat makes this more intriguing is the team style concept! This event will have 2 options: Participants can opt for the running version or the hiking version. The event will be capped at 300 participants. \nRunners prepare to engage in a rough and rugged portion of Ozark Trail where 1\,400’ of elevation over 13ish miles may seem like a cake walk\, but fear not there is enough rock to keep you rolling\, enough hills to keep you panting\, a few turns to keep you thinking and when rhythm comes to your stride prepare to lose it again as the rocky and technical terrain will let you know that won’t be happening often! \nHikers prepare once again for a gorgeous hike with some of the most amazing vistas\, history and flora/fauna galore. We take you thru the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in an attempt to really put you “out there” \nThere is limited cell service in this region. On-course communications will be spotty at best \nA rain date may be looked at should extreme weather cause the event to be postponed\, BUT is highly unlikely

SUMMARY:Gravityville
DESCRIPTION:Oct. 5th-6th for one weekend only Steelville\, MO will become Gravityville\, MO.  Join Loki Events and all of our great sponsors! \nGravityville Roost and Race weekend features TWO separate gravity events all taking place at Missouri’s latest bike epicenter\, Steelville.   Saturday AM riders will be treated to a Gravity Jam where you will get to race 5 stages as many times as you want in 3hrs\, with your best run counting towards your race time. Saturday will be a relaxed\, well-rounded day and also makes for the perfect reason to stay overnight at one of the lodges in and around Steelville. \nIf you prefer to camp\, camping will be available at the top of the hub near HQ where the post-race after-parties will take place. These campsites are free\, first come first serve and primitive – no showers just toilets. \nOn Sunday\, we turn up the intensity when racers from across the region suit up and drop in for the “Nerves of Steel” Enduro which will consist of 6 new stages many located at an entirely new riding zone including raw cuts and routes.  Beginners will be welcomed with open arms to try this new discipline as all stages have safe and fun B lines.  For our seasoned racer\, it…is….on and you better expect the unexpected.  We are talking old-school rugged\, all-natural\, backcountry trails!  The Loki Events team will be overseeing the new stage builds and if you know what that team can and has produced\, then you know what is possible when they are given a blank slate.   We can’t wait to see everyone converge on this amazing location that has shown continuous support towards the mountain bike community.    When we are done racing\, many of the stages will remain so as to have even more options for riders when they visit Steelville on their next trip.

SUMMARY:Bubba Memorial Cyclocross Race #1
DESCRIPTION:Big Shark “Veteran Racer” Butthead (aka- Josh Johnson)- a previous season’s A Race winner received a dog a long\, long time ago named “Bubba.” Butthead thought Bubba was a puppy\, which it/he was definitely not. Actually\, many people at first mistook Bubba for some sort of Hog\, (perhaps a razorback?)\, but that is a different issue entirely. Although we enjoyed Bubba we did not think Bubba was going to live past another cross season. We really didn’t. He was NOT a puppy. So this series is dedicated\, again\, to Bubba. Sadly\, Bubba passed away many summers ago- despite being commemorated for the past decade. We miss him Bubba\, although in truth he really had exceeded all of our expectations by remaining somewhat alive for as long as he did. He was adorable\, albeit weird. \nCyclocross features a perfect blend of mountain biking and road bike racing – plus a few skills unique to the sport. It’s a great way to spend the day outdoors as the seasons change – and keep your competitive edge. Lots of cowbell. Each race is under an hour – and we allow athletes to self-select their category based on fitness\, competency\, and what they did the night before.

SUMMARY:Greensfelder County Park Trail Build
DESCRIPTION:We will continue our construction of a new singletrack trail approximately 1 mile in length. It will connect the brand new Forby Road trailhead parking lot to the DeClue trail near the Arbors of Rockwood ridge line. This new trail will ascend about 200+ feet to reach the DeClue ridge. The trail will pass through cedar groves\, open meadows and old-growth fields. This trail will be unlike any existing trail at Greensfelder due to the open meadows and generally sustained climb/descent consisting primarily of dirt with a few short sections of rocky terrain.

SUMMARY:Bubba Memorial Cyclocross Race #2

SUMMARY:Tour de Milk
DESCRIPTION:Tour de Milk is named in honor of Prairie Farms Dairy which was founded in Carlinville in 1938. The race starts at Carlinville Plaza and weaves its way past many of Carlinville’s historic icons like The Square\, Sears Homes\, Macoupin County’s “Million Dollar Courthouse”\, and Illinois Rt. 66. \nPresented by Carlinville Plaza\, the goal of the ride is twofold: to bring awareness to the Route 66 Bike Route and other routes in the Carlinville area\, and secondly to raise money for two local charitable efforts. Proceeds benefit The Carlinville Area Food Pantry and Carlinville Winning Communities’ Beaver Dam Bike Trail effort. We’re proud to celebrate the 10th annual Tour de Milk in 2024. \nTour de Milk happens each year on the last Saturday in September. The race has two distances to choose from and is timed and supported with several rest areas along the way. Race it or go party pace. All are welcome!
